Our shopping bike route is approximately 12 kilometres long and takes in 3 local shopping centres before reaching our final destination: Malaga Designer Outlet.
First stop: El Corte Ingles Department Store
Just a 5 minute ride from the MALAGA BIKE Rentals shop, you can find the most famous Spanish department store. A perfect one-stop shopping centre, you can find everything your heart desires here. For example, fashion, sporting goods, homewear, furniture, etc.
And while you are here, why not take a rest and have a power snack before your next shopping stop? On the top floor, you can find the “Gourmet Experience”. Choose from all kinds of tasty tapas from the various gourmet counters. Take a drink on the outdoor rooftop terrace and enjoy the amazing view over the city and the Monte Gibralfaro.
El Corte Ingles is open every day except Sunday.
Second stop: Larios Shopping Centre

Jump on your bike, cross the road behind Corte Ingles to follow the bike path. Not far from Corte Ingles you can find Centro Larios- approx. 10 minutes by bike. Here you can find the major Spanish chain stores like Zara and Mango. As well, you can find the only Primark in Malaga and also the ‘imitation’Marks & Spencers Dunnes Stores.
The Larios centre shops are open every day until 10 p.m. except Sunday
Third stop: Vialia Shopping Centre
Follow the bike path behind the Larios Centre to arrive at Vialia. This shopping centre shares its home with the main train station María Zambrano. (If you are planning any long-distance train journeys, this is the station you would leave from. As well, most of the main car rental companies are based in this centre).
As well as a nice variety of shops, including Bershka, Desigual and the official Malaga F.C. shop, there are also plenty of restaurants, fast food places and cafés to enjoy. At the south end of the building you can find MediaMarkt for all your electrical needs.
The Vialia Centre shops are open every day until 10 p.m. except Sunday.
Of course, the centre itself is open on Sundays for train travellers as well as movie and restaurant goers.
Last stop: Malaga Designer Outlet

Ok- now we get to do some proper cycling! Hopefully you still have some space left in your basket. Follow the bike path south to the beachfront and then turn right. Continue on the bike path until the end of the beach. For the rest of the route, ask one of our friendly staff for directions. Alternately, you can find the bike route to the outlet on our maps page.
The Malaga Designer Outlet was opened in 2020. It’s official name is the McArthur Glen Designer Outlet. (As it is an extension of the long-established Plaza Mayor entertainment complex, most people refer to it as the Plaza Mayor Designer Outlet).
The Outlet sells 100 designer brand names. For instance, Armani, Prada, Ralph Lauren, Adidas to name a few. Therefore, this is your place to find amazing discounts on designer fashion, sports gear, housewear and accessories. The Outlet is open every day until 10 p.m. except Sunday.
